Park Insurance is really a great company to work for. You feel that the owners really care about their employees. There is a nice family connection that we have together, unlike working in a large corporation. Park always recognizes good work and really works with you to develop your own career path. Many employees are long-term employees and turnover is very low. We work hard together and we have fun along the way. I have made some great friends here whether it be with customers, co-workers, or managers.

I have been in the insurance industry since 1978. Since 1993, I have been working at Park Insurance primarily with the group plan for Engineers and Geoscientists of BC. I noticed at once that Park really does follow their mission statement – focusing on what the customer truly needs not just looking at Park’s bottom line. The client always comes first. I have worked for other institutions where the bottom line was more important than customer service and I found that very difficult to deal with. Park’s strong commitment to their customers is one of the reasons I still work at Park. Insurance has certainly changed over the years and so have the needs of our clients. With the group plan, it is never boring and ever changing. I think Park appreciates my knowledge and hard work, and that has been reflected in their support and the flexibility I have had over the years.

Park Insurance has been a wonderful employer. For me, raising a family has been a priority and Park has allowed me the flexibility over the years to do both, be a mom and work. I’ve been with Park since 1995 and they have ensured that we have the latest technology and are a great support in our ever-changing industry.
